i have a toshiba satellite a105-4384 that is 1.5 years old. I just bought a replacment battery off amazon because the original will not hold a charge. i got the new one 2 days ago but the battery meter does not work anymore, it only displays n/a when i look to see how much life is left. also the computer will sometimes shutdown when i close the lid instead of going into hibernation.
i fully charged it when i got it and let it run on purposely the first time as it said in the directions. At times last night it was telling me 13% charged then said n/a.
can anyone help me out, do i have to do something to the laptop like change a setting for the new battery? there is no manufactuer listed on the battery but it is listed as a replacement for the model # of the original
